Roof repair and leak detection
Fix the leak, not just the stain. We find where the water is getting in and repair it properly.
Most roof leaks start small: a few missing shingles, lifted flashing around a vent or chimney, or a seal that has dried out in the Florida sun. Left alone, they soak insulation, stain ceilings and lead to mold and rot. A proper repair costs far less than replacing a roof that has been leaking for a year.
Common repairs
- Missing, cracked or lifted shingles
- Flashing around chimneys, vents, skylights and walls
- Pipe boots and roof vents
- Storm and wind damage
- Valleys, ridges and edges that are letting water in
Our approach
We inspect the roof, trace the leak to its source, and explain what we found with photos. If a repair will solve the problem, we say so. If the roof is near the end of its life, we tell you that too, so you can decide with the full picture.
Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my roof is leaking?
Look for water stains on ceilings or walls, damp insulation in the attic, missing or curling shingles, and granules in your gutters. After a storm, check for visible damage from the ground.
Can you repair a roof after storm damage?
Yes. If the damage is limited we repair it. If it is widespread, we will explain whether replacement makes more sense.
Do I need to be home for the repair?
Usually not. We will confirm the schedule and access with you ahead of time.
